I believe that we are entering a new era of theraputic practise which
encompasses many differing theoretical approaches but is primarily about setting aside much of our self and being more 'human' with our clients.Whilst the theoretical boundaries are a good base for counselling practise I personally feel it is time to embrace a more holistic approach tailoring our support to the individual need of each client.Working in this way has enabled me a deeper and
more beneficial relationship particuarily when working with children. I am
coining this new approach 'Human Phase Therapy',
The huge benefit of animal assisted therapy with disabled children is already
acknowledged as is the use of art,music and drama.In addition,  holistic
therapies such as reflexology ,aromatherapy and more recently reiki are also becoming more widely accepted.

I am pleased to update on the book , the music has been transcribed,a children's school chosen to present the song and the beautifully illustrated book will be ready very soon.
